7 Job Boards Where CVCircuit Detects Job Listings Automatically

·CVCircuit

One extension. Seven job boards.

The CVCircuit browser extension works across the major job boards used by UK and US job seekers. Rather than needing a different tool for each platform, or manually copying job descriptions every time, CVCircuit detects listings automatically wherever you're searching.

Here's how it handles each supported platform.

1. Indeed

Indeed uses a split-pane layout where job listings appear in a left sidebar and descriptions load in the right panel. CVCircuit scopes its extraction to the right pane and uses multiple selector fallback chains to ensure it captures the full description even when Indeed's HTML structure changes. Job title, company, location, and salary are all extracted automatically.

2. LinkedIn Jobs

LinkedIn's job pages are built with class-based selectors that update frequently. CVCircuit targets the job title from the top card, company name and location from their dedicated fields, and the full description from the expandable content area — handling both the standard view and LinkedIn's "Easy Apply" layout.

3. Glassdoor

Glassdoor dynamically loads job content as you navigate, and the title and description sometimes update slightly out of sync. CVCircuit uses a dual-change detection strategy — it only captures the data once both the title and description have updated, preventing partial extractions.

4. Reed

Reed.co.uk opens job listings in a full-screen modal that lazy-loads the description. CVCircuit includes a dedicated observer that waits for the description to fully render before extracting — so you always get the complete listing, not a truncated version.

5. Totaljobs

Totaljobs uses a standard job detail page structure. CVCircuit extracts all key fields reliably and updates automatically when you navigate between listings.

6. Monster

Monster uses a split-pane detail panel similar to Indeed. CVCircuit monitors the panel for changes and confirms the description table has fully loaded before extracting, ensuring accuracy on Monster's sometimes slower-loading listings.

7. CV-Library

CV-Library is one of the UK's largest job boards and a popular choice for roles in engineering, IT, and finance. CVCircuit supports it natively, automatically detecting listings and extracting full descriptions.

Plus a generic fallback

For job boards not on the list, CVCircuit includes a generic fallback extractor that reads JSON-LD structured data (schema.org), meta tags, and the largest visible text block on the page. This means it often works on smaller niche job boards too.
