Terms and Conditions

Last updated: January 7, 2026

1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the CVCircuit website, applications, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

2. Who We Are

"CVCircuit", "we", "us", or "our" refers to the provider of the Service. We provide tools that help you create, edit, tailor, and export CVs/resumes, including automated assistance.

3. Eligibility and Account Registration

You must be able to form a legally binding contract in your jurisdiction to use the Service. You are responsible for providing accurate account information and maintaining the confidentiality of your sign-in credentials.

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. The Service

The Service may include CV/resume creation, automated content generation or rewriting, tailoring for job descriptions, template/style selection, and export to formats such as PDF or DOCX. Features may change over time.

We do not guarantee that the Service will improve employment outcomes, interviews, offers, or salary.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purposes.
  • Upload or input content that infringes intellectual property or privacy rights.
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disrupt the Service.
  • Access the Service using automated means that unreasonably burden our infrastructure.
  • Introduce viruses, malware, or other harmful code.
  • Use the Service to create or distribute deceptive or impersonating documents.

6. Your Content

The Service allows you to submit information such as your name, email, work history, education, skills, job descriptions, and other data that may appear in a CV ("User Content").

You retain ownership of your User Content. You represent and warrant that you have the rights to submit your User Content and that it is accurate to the best of your knowledge.

7. License You Grant Us

You grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, store, process, transmit, reproduce, and display your User Content solely to operate, maintain, and improve the Service, including generating CV outputs you request.

This license ends when you delete your User Content or your account, except to the extent we must retain certain information for legal, security, fraud prevention, or legitimate business purposes.

8. Automated Features and Outputs

Some features generate suggestions, rewrites, summaries, or tailored CV content ("Generated Output"). Generated Output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying Generated Output before using it.

You acknowledge that Generated Output is provided "as is" and is not professional, legal, or employment advice.

9. Plans, Billing, and Payments

We may offer free and paid subscription plans. Prices and included features are described on our pricing pages and may change.

If you purchase a paid plan, you authorize us (and our payment processors) to charge your payment method according to your selected plan and billing period.

Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. If a refund is required or approved, it may be pro-rated or subject to fees.

10. Cancellation, Downgrades, and Access

You may cancel or downgrade according to options provided in the Service. Cancellation or downgrade may take effect at the end of the current billing period.

Upon cancellation, you may lose access to paid features. We may also limit or suspend access for violations of these Terms, suspected fraud, or security concerns.

11. Third-Party Services

The Service may integrate with third-party services (for example, authentication, hosting, analytics, payment processing, and content-generation infrastructure). Your use of third-party services may be subject to those providers’ terms.

12. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design, templates, branding, and all related intellectual property, are owned by CVCircuit or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service except as permitted by these Terms.

13. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

14. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CVCIRCUIT WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

IN ALL CASES, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR $100 IF YOU HAVE NOT PAID US.

15. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless CVCircuit and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, and expenses arising from your use of the Service, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms.

16. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, or if required for security, legal, or operational reasons.

You may stop using the Service at any time. Termination does not relieve you of obligations incurred prior to termination.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we may provide notice through the Service or by other means. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

18. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction where CVCircuit operates, without regard to conflict of laws principles.

19. Contact

If you have questions about these Terms, please contact us through the support channels available in the Service.

Important Note

These Terms are provided as a general template. You should review them with qualified legal counsel to ensure they are appropriate for your business, jurisdiction, and compliance needs.
